 Our Story

eFantasy.gr Crete was founded in 2017 in Heraklion by Thodoris Liapatis and Michalis Tampakakis, with a vision to spread pop culture and create a hub for fans of fantasy, games, and collectibles. Built on the pillars of expertise, variety, and exceptional service, our store quickly became a reference point for board game enthusiasts, TCG players, comic readers, and collectors.

Our experience and passion are deeply connected with the legacy of eFantasy.gr – Greece’s largest physical and online store dedicated to pop culture since 2010.

 Our Physical Store

In the heart of Heraklion, at 13 Smyrnis Street, we’ve created a warm and dynamic space offering:

• A board game playroom with demo games ready to try
• The option to bring your own game and play with friends
• Daily TCG tournaments including Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon, One Piece TCG, Lorcana
• Free weekly miniature painting workshops and board game learning events
• Specialized staff ready to guide and assist you

 Our Community

eFantasy.gr is built on a vibrant and united community. Since 2019, we’ve been actively participating in Cretan ComicCon, promoting Greek creators and connecting the public with the world of pop culture.

A key member of our team is Giannis Papadakis, a certified Magic: The Gathering Judge (Level 2) with years of experience in national and international tournaments, overseeing the smooth organization of all our events.

In 2020, eFantasy Crete became the first Premium Store by Wizards of the Coast in Greece, a distinction awarded to stores that meet the company’s highest standards for organized play and community support in Magic: The Gathering.

 Our Online Store

After six years of physical presence, we took the next step by launching eFantasy-Crete.gr, our dedicated online store, powered by an independent warehouse in Heraklion.

Our mission is to provide fast, reliable service and a curated product selection to customers across Greece, with the same passion and attention that define our physical store experience.
